An exciting opportunity has arisen to become the new Head Chef of The Anglers in Teddington, joining Ben the General Manager and the team. 


We are looking for someone who can start when the pub re-opens and government restrictions are lifted.


Having gone through an exciting refurbishment in 2019, the pub has gone from strength the strength and is renowned for one of the best places to eat and drink in Teddington, on a beautiful riverside setting.


The Anglers is a truly seasonal business which lends itself to all times of the year; whether it’s the packed riverside garden during the Summer, or the cosy conservatory dining room in the Winter. Offering a wide range of customer experiences in corporate events, private dining or celebrations across three difference function spaces.


With this said, the Head Chef and kitchen team need to be fully aligned with the seasonality and complexity of the business and be able to demonstrate agility and passion with everything they do. The Head Chef will work closely with the General Manager and our Executive Chefs to ensure an exciting offer which is consistent and delivered to the highest standards.


We are looking for a true leader who can manage, motivate and inspire a large team; working side by side with Ben to ensure the success of the business and an exceptional customer experience – whatever the weather!


Live in accommodation is available with this position if required, live out also considered. This is an exciting new challenge for an existing, experienced Head Chef who is looking to work in one of the busiest seasonal pubs in our estate.

The Anglers, which is situated on the Thames next to Teddington Lock, has existed since the mid-18th century and was acquired by Fuller’s in 2010. It was a popular pub among local fisherman, which inspired its name. The Anglers is one of Fullers' busiest pubs, especially during the summertime when the garden and outdoor bar – which accommodates 300 people – is humming with activity. The pub has a fully kitted out kitchen where our team of chefs create outstanding, sustainably sourced modern dishes from scratch, as well as a dining area with a view of the Thames, a function room and an upstairs bar.
